Larry Goodpaster
"Michael McCann joined our pit orchestra for last year’s holiday production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. From the first notes he played, I realized we had a phenomenally talented musician in our midst. His playing on every single instrument was spot-on and appropriately nuanced. He has garnered the confidence of the musician hiring manager for Playhouse Square’s Broadway Series. It is obvious when watching Michael in the pit, that he loves playing. He is inspirational to the other musicians as his whole body reflects his joy in performing. I would recommend Michael for any gig requiring a reed player."
Alfredo Guerrieri
"Whether it’s on flute, alto, tenor, or clarinet Michael’s playing is always killing! His playing ranges from soulful and melodic to brash and liberating….always fun to listen to and watch! But what separates him from other players is his attention to detail and attitude, always prepared, listening, and encouraging!"
